Description

• ET-150 Barrier Coating is a high quality polymer emulsion available in white and black.
• It is easily applied by spray or brush to provide a durable and flexible water-resistant finish over a wide service temperature range.
• ET-150 Barrier Coating has class 0 compliance and therefore dries to form a flame resistant finish.

Application

• Ensure surface to be coated is clean, dry, dust free and degreased.
• Using a spray or brush, apply ET-150 Barrier Coating to the entire surface.
• Embed a reinforcement membrane such as scrim canvas or glass cloth into the wet coat taking care to smooth out all wrinkles.
• Overlap all seams and joints by 50mm.
• Apply a second coat of ET-150 Barrier Coating after the first is touch dry and within 24 hours.
• Areas subject to mechanical damage such as joints may require additional protection with a reinforcement membrane.

Properties

• Drying times: Touch dry in 2 hours and thoroughly dried in 24 hours.
• Coverage: 0.5 - 4.0 sqm/litre, depending on the shape of the object, the porosity of the surface, the method of application and the circumstances in which it is applied.
• Dries to form a flexible, durable and water-resistant finish. When dry, ET-150 Barrier Coating will work between temperatures of -29 to 82 degrees C.
• Solvent free.
• Non-marine pollutant.
• Shelf life: At least 1 year if stored in a dry place between temperatures of 5 degrees C to 25 degrees C and out of direct sunlight.
