Description
The METALLIC colours are an exceptional range of water based metallic pigments which include silver, 5 golds, (lemon, light lemon, mid, deep & antique), plus 2 copper (red & yellow) shades. The METALLIC colours have excellent properties of coverage, are ready for use with no mixing of powder necessary. The METALLIC colours have the ability to intermix with solid colours to create infinite shades of metallic effect colours. The METALLIC range is ideal for film, TV, theatre and VM applications, enabling a finish previously only possible with powders or spirit based products Ensure surface to be painted is sound, clean and degreased Treat new plaster and filled areas with a stabilizing solution Apply undercoat/primer to new work with Bristol StudioWhite All colours can be intermixed and diluted without adverse effect Application by brush, roller or conventional / HVLP spray method For large areas, spraying is recommended Extra durability is achieved by addition of our AQUA PLUS binder. METALLIC colours can be oversprayed with Stardust glitter paint for extra lustre. The exceptional coverage capabilities of the silver makes it ideal for masking out.
Properties
Drying Time: Surface will usually be touch dry within 1 hour Complete bonding process will take approx. 2 days at 20 °C and 50% humidity Re-Coat: After 1-2 hours Coverage: Approx. 8-10m² per litre (depending on porosity of substrate) Adhesion: Excellent on most sound surfaces Available sizes: 1kg, 3 kg, 6kg and 10kg buckets also available, boxed sets of all colours in 100ml or 200ml pots. NB: Metallic silver is available in 5kg, not in 6 kg
