Description

The PRIMARY paint range is an air drying water-based paint formulated generally for interior use. These pigment based paints are produced in a wide range of vibrant colours. They dry to a totally matte finish and give exceptional coverage, this making them very economical and extremely easy to use.

The PRIMARY paint range can also be intermixed or top dressed with our range of waterbased lacquers and coatings. For application to difficult substrates or for additional durability, these products are extremely useful. This process may effect the total mattness of the finish. We advise a test be undertaken to ensure finish is as expected.

The PRIMARY paint range is kept in stock and ready for immediate despatch.
The paints are pigment based and as such are sold by weight. Due to variations of pigment weight, volume is shown as approx. litres

A comprehensive PURE COLOUR folder is available on request.

Wet samples of the PRIMARY paint range are available on request for specific projects.

Application

  • Ensure surface to be painted is sound, clean and degreased
  • Treat new plaster and filled areas with stabilizing solution such as Hyro Seal
  • Apply undercoat/primer to new work with Bristol Studio White
  • All colours can be diluted with water and intermixed
  • Application by brush, roller or conventional / HVLP spray method
  • It is recommended two coats be applied, sometimes three in the case of pigments with relatively low covering power. High pigment colours tend to be slightly chalky and unless treated with a binder can be easily marked.
  • Further durability is achieved by addition of one of a range of specific lacquers and coatings
